Garrett Releases Checkpoint Kiosk for Enhanced Security Screening
The SecureFlow Kiosk is an enhanced user interface for Garrett Paragon walk-through metal detectors. This tablet-based accessory provides constant access to recent alarm information as well as current walkthrough settings and a live view of the Paragon's zone indication and ready lights. It connects to the detector via a wired ethernet connection. The company says that the kiosk will enhance both throughput and security by improving secondary screening efficiency and reducing fatigue and the impact of any attention lapses that occur with checkpoint staff.

MUNICH, April 2, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- The combination of metal detectors with mmWave security scanners provides the highest detection capability and comfort for certain loss prevention use cases and in prisons. Garrett Announces New 3-Year Warranty
Garland, Texas, July 10, 2023—Texas-based Garrett Metal Detectors today announced that its standard manufacturer's warranty on metal detecting products has been extended to three-years (36 months), effectively immediately.
The company further detailed that the three-year warranty covers ground-search, hand-held, and walk-through metal detectors, pinpointers, and searchcoils from its Sport, Security, and Countermine product divisions. This warranty is retroactive to all Garrett detector products sold in the past, but does not apply to accessory items.

Garrett Detectors Installed in Laredo School District
