Accurate Pinpointing
With over four times the detection coils of comparable models, the PD 6500i™ ensures consistent detection and precise pinpointing during the screening process. Independent zone indicator lights on both side panels enhance security measures by identifying the height and left, center, or right locations of objects, aiding in additional screening for passengers as they pass through the archway.

Offers four settings for counting (forward, reverse, subtract in reverse, and bi-directional).

Garrett Walk-Through Detector Safety
Garrett walk-through metal detectors meet U.S., Transportation Security Administration (TSA), and international regulatory requirements for electromagnetic safety. Extensive research has found no information that would indicate Garrett products have adverse effects on pregnancy, medical devices (such as pacemakers), or magnetic recording media. However, those with medical conditions should follow directives by physicians and medical device manufacturers regarding metal detectors.
